Trent College and The Elms are thriving independent day and boarding schools for boys and girls aged 0 to 18. Their reputation for excellence has grown since opening in 1868 with a continued commitment to provide an education enabling all pupils to flourish. Within the impressive 45 acre campus the schools boast a wide range of fine facilities and venues for hire plus superb hospitality provision, all conveniently located in the heart of England, close to Nottingham, and Derby.

The school has one main dining room and the catering team feeds 1100 students and 400 staff each lunchtime, plus breakfast and dinner for the boarders and house staff.  On top of this the team hosts an array of internal and external hospitality events including sporting fixtures and teas, conferences, theatre performances, and weddings.

The schools believe that everyone has the potential to go further than they thought possible and strive for excellence.  With this in mind, the catering team explored the possibility of installing an EauVation system as they were keen to be more sustainable and reduce their use of single-use plastic.  Although they had been using recycled glass bottles for their water offering, they were still essentially single-use.  Having heard of EauVation and the wide range of systems available, the team decided on the Aqua80T - a stylish tabletop system, which has a high-performance ice-bank refrigerator capable of delivering large volumes of water at consistently low temperatures.

With commercial hospitality events and weddings growing year on year, it was a pre-requisite to ensure that a system could cope with the volume demand for water.  The EauVation system has allowed the team to excel in its water provision, the Aqua80T copes with all demand with ease and the use of beautifully branded bottles provides a talking point amongst guests.  As well as having the ability to serve delicious, chilled, still and sparkling water, the school also offers elderflower and other cordials to blend with the water.
